okay whatever …. but wikipedia tho? any college student would know that is the last place you want to get accurate info from!
even then ….its still legal issues because he was with jeremy rose and if it was two of them in the group and they split up abel couldnt continue under the name the weekend because jeremy could have sued him.
therefore he changed it to the weeknd!

nope its a matter of legal issues….. there is another band by the name the weekend. idk why but two bands cant have the same name.
for instance when pretty ricky first started out in miami they were called pretty ricky and the mavericks. but there is another band out by the name the mavericks so they had to drop it and go by pretty ricky.
